John 15:22-27

22 1If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have 2sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23The one who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 3If I had not done among them 4the works which no one else did, they would not have 5sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. 25But this has happened so that the word that is written in their 6Law will be fulfilled: ‘7They hated Me for no reason.’

26“When the 8 9Helper comes, 10whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, 11the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, 12He will testify about Me, 27and 13 14you are testifying as well, because you have been with Me 15from the beginning.
