John 14:26-31

26But the 1Helper, the Holy Spirit 2whom the Father will send in My name, 3He will teach you all things, and 4remind you of all that I said to you.

27 5Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. 6 7Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor 8fearful.

28 9You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away, and 10I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced 11because 12I am going to the Father, for 13the Father is greater than I.

29And now 14I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.

30I will not speak much more with you, for 15the ruler of the world is coming, and he has 16nothing in regard to Me,

31but so that the world may know that I love the Father, 17I do exactly as 18the Father commanded Me. Get up, 19let’s go from here.
