John 12:41-43
41These things Isaiah said because 1he saw His glory, and 2he spoke about Him. 42Nevertheless 3many, even of 4the rulers, believed in Him, but 5because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, so that they would not be 6excommunicated from the synagogue; 437for they loved the 8approval of people rather than the 9approval of God.
