John 11:1-5
Now a certain man was sick: Lazarus of 1Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister 2Martha.
And it was the Mary who 3anointed 4the Lord with 5ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
So the sisters sent word to Him, saying, “6Lord, behold, 7he whom You love is sick.”
But when Jesus heard this, He said, “This sickness is not 8meant for death, but is for 9the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”
