John 10:19-30

19 1Dissension occurred again among the Jews because of these words. 20Many of them were saying, “He 2has a demon and 3is insane. Why do you listen to Him?” 21Others were saying, “These are not the words of one who is 4demon-possessed. 5A demon cannot open the eyes of those who are blind, can it?”

22At that time the 6Feast of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem; 23it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple area, in the portico of 7Solomon. 24 8The Jews then surrounded Him and began saying to Him, “How long 9will You keep us in suspense? If You are the 10Christ, tell us 11plainly.” 25Jesus answered them, “12I told you, and you do not believe; 13the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me. 26But you do not believe, because 14you are not of My sheep. 27My sheep 15listen to My voice, and 16I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give them 17eternal life, and they will never perish; and 18no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 19My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 20I and the Father are 21one.”
