91This was 2the true Light 3that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.
10He was in the world, and 4the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not 5know Him.
11He came to His 6own, and His own people did not 7accept Him.
12But 8as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 9children of God, 10to those who 11believe in His name,
