John 1:6-13
6A man 1came, one sent from God, and his name was 2John. 73He came 45as a witness, to testify about the Light, 6so that all might believe through him. 878He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.
99This was 10the true Light 11that, coming into the world, enlightens every person. 10He was in the world, and 12the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not 13know Him. 11He came to His 14own, and His own people did not 15accept Him. 12But 16as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 17children of God, 18to those who 19believe in His name, 1320who were 21born, not of 22blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.
