John 1:45-49
451Philip found 2Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom 3Moses wrote in the Law, and 4the prophets also wrote: Jesus 5the son of Joseph, from 6Nazareth!”
46Nathanael said to him, “7Can anything good be from Nazareth?” 8Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
47Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, “Here is truly an 9Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”
48Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before 10Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49Nathanael answered Him, “11Rabbi, You are 12the Son of God; You are the 13King of Israel!”
