Joel 2:18-27

18Then the Lord 1will be 2zealous for His land, And 3will have 4compassion for His people.19The Lord 5will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I am going to 6send you grain, new wine, and oil, And you will be satisfied in full with 7them; And I will 8never again make you a disgrace among the nations.20But I will remove the 9northern army far from you, And I will drive it into a dry and desolate land, Its advance guard into the 10eastern sea, And its rear guard into the 11western sea. And its 12stench will ascend and its odor of decay will come up, Because it has done great things.”

2113Do not fear, land; shout for joy and rejoice, For the Lord has done 14great things.22Do not fear, animals of the field, For the 15pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has produced its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded 16in full.23So shout for joy, you 17sons of Zion, And 18rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has 19given you 20the early rain for your vindication. And He has brought down for you the rain, The 21early and 2223latter rain 24as before.24The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will 25overflow with the new wine and oil.25“Then I will compensate you for the years That the 26swarming 27locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust-- My great army which I sent among you.26You will have plenty to 28eat and be satisfied, And you will 29praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has 30dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will 31never be put to shame.27So you will 32know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the Lord your God And there is 33no other; And My people will never be 34put to shame.
