Job 9:27-31
27Though I say, ‘I will forget 1my complaint, I will 2put my face in order and be cheerful,’28I am 3afraid of all my pains, I know that 4You will not acquit me.29I am 5guilty, Why then should I struggle in vain?30If I 6washed myself with snow, And cleansed 7my hands with lye,31Then You would plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes would loathe me.
