Job 12:14-25

14Behold, He 1tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He 2 3imprisons a person, and 4there is no release.15Behold, He 5restrains the waters, and they dry up; And He 6sends them out, and they 7inundate the earth.16Strength and sound wisdom are with Him. One who 8goes astray and one who leads astray belong to Him.17He makes 9advisers walk 10barefoot And makes fools of 11judges.18He 12undoes the binding of kings, And ties a loincloth around their waist.19He makes priests walk 13barefoot, And overthrows 14the secure ones.20He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And 15takes away the discernment of the elders.21He 16pours contempt on nobles, And 17loosens the belt of the strong.22He 18reveals mysteries from the darkness, And brings the deep darkness into light.23He 19makes the nations great, then destroys them; He 20enlarges the nations, then leads them away.24He 21deprives the leaders of the earth’s people of 22intelligence And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland.25They 23grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them 24stagger like a drunken person.
