Job 12:12-25
12Wisdom is with the 1aged, And with 2long life comes understanding.
13“3Wisdom and 4might are with Him; Advice and 5understanding belong to Him.14Behold, He 6tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He 78imprisons a person, and 9there is no release.15Behold, He 10restrains the waters, and they dry up; And He 11sends them out, and they 12inundate the earth.16Strength and sound wisdom are with Him. One who 13goes astray and one who leads astray belong to Him.17He makes 14advisers walk 15barefoot And makes fools of 16judges.18He 17undoes the binding of kings, And ties a loincloth around their waist.19He makes priests walk 18barefoot, And overthrows 19the secure ones.20He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And 20takes away the discernment of the elders.21He 21pours contempt on nobles, And 22loosens the belt of the strong.22He 23reveals mysteries from the darkness, And brings the deep darkness into light.23He 24makes the nations great, then destroys them; He 25enlarges the nations, then leads them away.24He 26deprives the leaders of the earth’s people of 27intelligence And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland.25They 28grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them 29stagger like a drunken person.
