James 4:4-6
4You 1adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with 2the world is 3hostility toward God? 4Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5Or do you think that the Scripture 5says to no purpose, “6He 7jealously desires 8the Spirit whom He has made to dwell in us”?
6But 9He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “10God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
