Ecclesiastes 1:16-18
16I 1said to myself, “Behold, I have magnified and increased 2wisdom more than all who were over Jerusalem before me; and my 3mind has observed 4a wealth of wisdom and knowledge.”
17And I 5applied my 6mind to know wisdom and to 7know insanity and foolishness; I realized that this also is 8striving after wind.
18Because 9in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
