Deuteronomy 32:9-12
91For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.102He found him in a desert land, And in the howling wasteland of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as 3the 4apple of His eye.115As an eagle stirs up its nest, And hovers over its young, 6He spread His wings, He caught them, He carried them on His pinions.127The Lord alone guided him, 8And there was no foreign god with him.
