Deuteronomy 16:13-16
13“1You shall 2celebrate the Feast of 3Booths for seven days when you have gathered in from your threshing floor and your wine vat; 14and you shall 4rejoice in your feast, you, your son and your daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the Levite, the stranger, the 5orphan, and the widow who are in your 6towns. 15For seven days you shall celebrate a feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful.
16“7Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths; and 8they are not to appear before the Lord empty-handed.
