Deuteronomy 10:1-5
1“At that time the Lord said to me, ‘1Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first two, and come up to Me on the mountain, and 2make an 3ark of wood for yourself. 2Then 4I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you smashed to pieces, and 5you shall put them in the ark.’ 3So 6I made an ark of acacia wood and 7cut out two tablets of stone like the first two, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hand. 4Then He wrote on the tablets, like the first writing, 8the Ten 9Commandments 10which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire 11on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me. 5Then I turned and 12came down from the mountain, and I 13put the tablets in the ark which I had made; 14and they are there, just as the Lord commanded me.”
