Acts 26:4-7
“So then, all Jews know 1my way of life since my youth, which from the beginning was spent among my own nation and in Jerusalem,
since they have known about me for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that I lived as a 2Pharisee 3according to the strictest 4sect of our religion.
And now I am standing trial 5for the hope of 6the promise made by God to our fathers;
the promise 7to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly serve God night and day. For this 8hope, O king, I am being 9accused by Jews.
