Acts 11:23-30
23Then when he arrived and 1witnessed 2the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with 3resolute heart to remain true to the Lord; 24for he was a good man, and 4full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And 56considerable numbers were added to the Lord. 25And he left for 7Tarsus to look for Saul; 26and when he had found him, he brought him to 8Antioch. And for an entire year they 9met with the church and taught 10considerable numbers of people; and 11the disciples were first called 12Christians in 13Antioch.
27Now 14at this time some 15prophets came down from Jerusalem to 16Antioch. 28One of them, named 17Agabus, stood up and 18indicated 19by the Spirit that there would definitely be a severe famine 20all over the 21world. 22And this took place in the reign of 23Claudius. 29And to the extent that any of 24the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the 25relief of 26the brothers and sisters living in Judea. 3027And they did this, sending it 28with 29Barnabas and Saul to the 30elders.
