2 Samuel 8:7-12

7David took the shields of gold which were 1carried by the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. 8And from 2Betah and 3Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took a very large amount of bronze.

9Now when Toi king of 4Hamath heard that David had 5defeated the whole army of Hadadezer, 10Toi sent his son 6Joram to King David to 7greet him and bless him, because he had fought Hadadezer and 8defeated him; for Hadadezer 9had been at war with Toi. And 10Joram brought with him articles of silver, gold, and bronze. 11King David also 11consecrated these gifts to the Lord, with the silver and gold that he had consecrated from all the nations which he had subdued: 12from 12Aram, 13Moab, 14the sons of Ammon, 15the Philistines, 16Amalek, and from the spoils of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
