2 Peter 2:10-19

10and especially those who 1 2indulge the flesh in its corrupt passion, and 3despise 4authority.

5Reckless, 6self-centered, they 7speak abusively of angelic 8majesties without trembling, 11 9whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a demeaning judgment against them before the Lord. 12But 10these, like unreasoning animals, 11born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, using abusive speech where they have no knowledge, will in 12the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed, 13suffering wrong as 13the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to 14revel in the 15daytime. They are stains and blemishes, 16reveling in their 17deceptions as they 18feast with you, 14having eyes full of adultery 19that never cease from sin, 20enticing 21unstable souls, having hearts trained in 22greed, 23accursed children; 15abandoning 24the right way, they have gone astray, having followed 25the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved 26the 27reward of unrighteousness; 16but he received a rebuke for his own offense, 28for a mute donkey, speaking with a human voice, restrained the insanity of the prophet.

17These are 29springs without water and mists driven by a storm, 30for whom the 31black darkness has been reserved. 18For, while speaking out 32arrogant words of no 33value they 34entice by fleshly desires, by 35indecent behavior, those who barely 36escape from the ones who live in error, 19promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for 37by what anyone is overcome, by this he is enslaved.
