Peter 1:3-7

for His 1divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true 2knowledge of Him who 3called us 4by His own glory and 5excellence.

Through 6these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent 7promises, so that by them you may become 8partakers of the divine nature, having 9escaped the 10corruption that is in 11the world on account of lust.

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith 12supply 13moral 14excellence, and in your moral excellence, 15knowledge,

and in your knowledge, 16self-control, and in your self-control, 17perseverance, and in your perseverance, 18godliness,

and in your godliness, 19brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
