2 Kings 17:14-16
14However, they did not listen, but 1stiffened their neck 2like their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.
153They rejected His statutes and 4His covenant which He made with their fathers, and His warnings which He 5gave them. And 6they followed 7idols and 8became empty, and followed the nations that surrounded them, about which the 9Lord had commanded them not to do as they did.
16And they abandoned all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves cast metal images: 10two calves. And they 11made an 12Asherah, and 13worshiped all the heavenly 14lights, and 15served Baal.
