2 Kings 14:5-7
5Now it came about, as soon as the kingdom was firmly in his hand, that he 12killed his servants who had 3killed the king, his father. 6But he did not put the sons of 4the murderers to death, in 5obedience to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, as the Lord commanded, saying, “6The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, nor the sons be put to death for the fathers; but 7each shall be put to death for his own sin.”
7He 8killed ten thousand of the Edomites in 9the Valley of Salt, and took 10Sela by war, and named it 11Joktheel, as it is to this day.
