2 Chronicles 21:12-15
12Then a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, “This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says: ‘Because 1you have not walked in the ways of your father Jehoshaphat 2and the ways of Asa king of Judah, 13but 3have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to be unfaithful 4as the house of Ahab was unfaithful, and you 5have also killed your brothers, 6your own family, who were better than you, 14behold, the Lord is going to strike your people, your sons, your wives, and all your possessions with a great plague; 15and 7you will suffer 8severe sickness, a disease of your bowels, until your bowels come out because of the sickness, day by day.’”
