1 Samuel 31:10-13
10They put his weapons in the 1temple of 2Ashtaroth, and 3they nailed his body to the wall of 4Beth-shan.
11Now when 5the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead heard 6what the Philistines had done to Saul,
127all the valiant men got up and walked all night, and they took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan, and they came to Jabesh and 8burned them there.
13And they took their bones and 9buried them under 10the tamarisk tree in Jabesh, and 11fasted for seven days.
