1 Peter 2:21-25

21For 1you have been called for this purpose, 2because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you 3an example, so that you would follow in His steps,

22He who 4committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth;

235and while being 6abusively insulted, He did not insult in return; while suffering, He did not threaten, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;

24and He Himself 78brought our sins in His body up on the 910cross, so that we 11might die to 12sin and live for righteousness; 13by His 14wounds you were 15healed.

25For you were 16continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the 17Shepherd and 18Guardian of your souls.
