1 Corinthians 15:54-58
54But when this 1perishable puts on 2the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written: “3Death has been swallowed up in victory. 554Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 56The sting of 5death is sin, and 6the power of sin is the Law; 57but 7thanks be to God, who gives us the 8victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
589Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in 10the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
