Zephaniah 2:8-10
8“I have heard the 12taunting of Moab And the 3revilings of the sons of Ammon, With which they have 4taunted My people And 56become arrogant against their territory.9Therefore, as I live,” declares the Lord of hosts, The God of Israel, “Surely 7Moab will be like 8Sodom And the sons of 9Ammon like 10Gomorrah-- A place possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation. The remnant of My people will 11plunder them And the remainder of My nation will inherit them.” 10This they will have in return for their 12pride, because they have 1314taunted and 15become arrogant against the people of the Lord of hosts.
