8“I have heardשָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙sha.Ma'.tiH8085thetauntingחֶרְפַּ֣תcher.PatH2781of Moabמוֹאָ֔בmo.'AvH4124And therevilingsוְגִדּוּפֵ֖יve.gi.du.FeiH1421of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Ammonעַמּ֑וֹןa.MonH5983,With whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834they havetauntedחֵֽרְפוּ֙che.re.FuH2778My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971AndbecomeH1431arrogantH1431againstעַל־'al-H5921their territoryגְּבוּלָֽם׃ge.vu.LamH1366.

9Thereforeלָכֵ֣ןla.KhenH3651,as I liveחַי־chai-H2416,”declaresנְאֻם֩ne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֜וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,The Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “Surelyכִּֽי־ki-H3588Moabמוֹאָ֞בmo.'AvH4124will be likeSodomכִּסְדֹ֤םkis.DomH5467And the sonsוּבְנֵ֤יu.ve.NeiH1121ofAmmonעַמּוֹן֙'a.mOnH5983likeGomorrahכַּֽעֲמֹרָ֔הka.'a.mo.RahH6017--A placeH4476possessedH4476by nettlesחָר֛וּלcha.RulH2738and saltמֶ֥לַחMe.lachH4417pitsוּמִכְרֵה־u.mikh.reh-H4379,And a perpetualעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769desolationוּשְׁמָמָ֖הu.she.ma.MahH8077.The remnantשְׁאֵרִ֤יתshe.'e.RitH7611of My peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971willplunderיְבָזּ֔וּםye.va.ZumH962themAnd the remainderוְיֶ֥תֶרve.Ye.terH3499of My nationגּוֹיִ֖יgoyiH1471will inheritיִנְחָלֽוּם׃yin.cha.LumH5157them.”
