Song of Songs 5:1-3
1“1I have 2come into my garden, 3my sister, my bride; I have gathered my 4myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb 5and my 6honey; I have 7drunk my wine 8and my milk. Eat, 9friends; Drink and 10imbibe deeply, O lovers.”
2“11I was asleep but my heart was awake. A voice! My beloved was knocking: ‘Open to me, 12my sister, my darling, 13My dove, my perfect one! For my head is 14drenched with dew, My 15locks with the 16damp of the night.’3I have 17taken off my dress, How can I put it on again? I have 18washed my feet, How can I dirty them again?
