Song of Songs 1:6-9
6Do not stare at me because I am 1swarthy, For the sun has burned me. My 2mother’s sons were angry with me; They made me 3caretaker of the vineyards, But I have not taken care of my own vineyard.7Tell me, O you 4whom my soul loves, Where do you 5pasture your flock, Where do you make it 6lie down at noon? For why should I be like one who 7veils herself Beside the flocks of your 8companions?”
8“9If you yourself do not know, 10Most beautiful among women, Go forth on the trail of the flock And pasture your young goats By the tents of the shepherds.
9“11To me, 12my darling, you are like My 13mare among the chariots of Pharaoh.
