Romans 8:20-23

20For the creation 1was subjected to 2futility, not willingly, but 3because of Him who subjected it, 4in hope

21that 5the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

22For we know that the whole creation 6groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

237And not only this, but also we ourselves, having 8the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves 9groan within ourselves, 10waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, 11the redemption of our body.
