Romans 8:18-23

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time 1are not worthy to be compared with the 2glory that is to be revealed to us.

For the 3anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for 4the revealing of the 5sons of God.

For the creation 6was subjected to 7futility, not willingly, but 8because of Him who subjected it, 9in hope

that 10the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation 11groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

And not only this, but also we ourselves, having 13the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves 14groan within ourselves, 15waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, 16the redemption of our body.
