Romans 6:17-21
17But 1thanks be to God that 2though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that 3form of teaching to which you were committed, 18and having been 4freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 195I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just 6as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, 7resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, 8resulting in sanctification.
20For 9when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21Therefore what 1011benefit were you then 12deriving 13from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is 14death.
