Romans 3:20-28

20because 1by the works 2of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for 34through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

21But now apart 5from the Law 6the righteousness of God has been manifested, being 7witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22even the 8righteousness of God through 9faith 10in Jesus Christ for 11all those 12who believe; for 13there is no distinction; 23for all 1415have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified as a gift 16by His grace through 17the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25whom God displayed publicly as 18a 19propitiation 2021in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, 22because in the 23forbearance of God He 24passed over the sins previously committed; 26for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who 25has faith in Jesus.

27Where then is 26boasting? It is excluded. By 27what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 2828For 29we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works 30of the Law.
