Romans 12:6-21
6Since we have gifts that 1differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if 2prophecy, 3according to the proportion of his faith; 7if 45service, in his serving; or he who 6teaches, in his teaching; 8or he who 7exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with 89liberality; 10he who 11leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with 12cheerfulness.
9Let 13love be without hypocrisy. 14Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be 15devoted to one another in brotherly love; 16give preference to one another 17in honor; 11not lagging behind in diligence, 18fervent in spirit, 19serving the Lord; 1220rejoicing in hope, 21persevering in tribulation, 22devoted to prayer, 1323contributing to the needs of the 24saints, 2526practicing hospitality.
1427Bless those who persecute 28you; bless and do not curse. 1529Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 1630Be of the same mind toward one another; 31do not be haughty in mind, but 32associate with the lowly. 33Do not be wise in your own estimation. 1734Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. 3536Respect what is right in the sight of all men. 18If possible, 37so far as it depends on you, 38be at peace with all men. 1939Never take your own revenge, beloved, but 40leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “41Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20“42But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
