17So he toldוַיַּגֶּד־vai.ya.ged-H5046her allכָּל־kol-H3605that wasin his heartלִבּ֗וֹli.BoH3820and saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to her, “A razorמוֹרָה֙mo.RahH4177has neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808comeעָלָ֣ה'a.LahH5927on my headרֹאשִׁ֔יro.ShiH7218, for I have been aNaziriteנְזִ֧ירne.ZirH5139to Godאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430from my mother’sאִמִּ֑י'i.MiH517wombמִבֶּ֣טֶןmi.Be.tenH990.Ifאִם־'im-H518I am shavedגֻּלַּ֙חְתִּי֙gu.Lach.tiH1548,then my strengthכֹחִ֔יkho.ChiH3581will leaveוְסָ֣ר מִמֶּ֣נִּיve.Sar mi.Me.niH5493 H4480me and I will becomeH2470weakוְחָלִ֥יתִיve.cha.Li.tiH2470and be like anyכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605othermanהָאָדָֽם׃ha.'a.DamH120.”

18When Delilahדְלִילָ֗הde.li.LahH1807sawוַתֵּ֣רֶאva.Te.re'H7200that he had toldהִגִּ֣ידhi.GidH5046her allכָּל־kol-H3605that wasin his heartלִבּוֹ֒li.BoH3820,she sentוַתִּשְׁלַ֡חva.tish.LachH7971and calledוַתִּקְרָא֩va.tik.Ra'H7121the lordsלְסַרְנֵ֨יle.sar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֤יםfe.lish.TimH6430,sayingלֵאמֹר֙le.MorH559, “Comeעֲל֣וּ'a.LuH5927up onceH6471moreH6471,for he has toldהִגִּ֥ידhi.GidH5046me allכָּל־kol-H3605that isin his heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820.”Then the lordsסַרְנֵ֣יsar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430cameוְעָל֤וּve.'a.LuH5927up to her and broughtוַיַּעֲל֥וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927the moneyהַכֶּ֖סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701in their handsבְּיָדָֽם׃be.ya.DamH3027.

19She made him sleepוַתְּיַשְּׁנֵ֙הוּ֙va.te.ya.she.Ne.huH3462on her kneesבִּרְכֶּ֔יהָbir.Kei.haH1290,and calledוַתִּקְרָ֣אva.tik.Ra'H7121for a manלָאִ֔ישׁla.'IshH376and had him shaveH1548offH1548the sevenשֶׁ֖בַעShe.va'H7651locksמַחְלְפ֣וֹתmach.le.FotH4253of hishairרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218.Then she beganוַתָּ֙חֶל֙va.Ta.chelH2490to afflictלְעַנּוֹת֔וֹle.'a.no.ToH6031him, and his strengthכֹּח֖וֹko.ChoH3581leftוַיָּ֥סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493him.
