31His servantsעֲבָדָיו֒'a.va.DavH5650saidוַיֹּאמְר֣וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to him, “Beholdהִנֵּֽה־hi.neh-H2009nowנָ֣אna'H4994,we have heardשָׁמַ֔עְנוּsha.Ma'.nuH8085that the kingsמַלְכֵי֙mal.KheiH4428of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478are mercifulחֶ֖סֶדChe.sedH2617kingsמַלְכֵ֥יmal.KheiH4428,pleaseנָּא֩na'H4994let usputנָשִׂ֣ימָהna.Si.mahH7760sackclothשַׂקִּ֨יםsa.KimH8242on our loinsבְּמָתְנֵ֜ינוּbe.ma.te.Nei.nuH4975and ropesוַחֲבָלִ֣יםva.cha.va.LimH2256on our headsבְּרֹאשֵׁ֗נוּbe.ro.She.nuH7218,and goוְנֵצֵא֙ve.ne.Tze'H3318out to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;perhapsאוּלַ֖י'u.LaiH194he will saveיְחַיֶּ֥הye.chai.YehH2421yourlifeנַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃naf.She.khaH5315.”

32Sothey girdedוַיַּחְגְּרוּ֩vai.yach.ge.RuH2296sackclothשַׂקִּ֨יםsa.KimH8242on their loinsבְּמָתְנֵיהֶ֜םbe.ma.te.nei.HemH4975and putropesוַחֲבָלִ֣יםva.cha.va.LimH2256on their headsבְּרָאשֵׁיהֶ֗םbe.ra.shei.HemH7218,and cameוַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙vai.ya.Vo.'uH935to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478and saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559, “Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֧'av.de.KhaH5650Ben-hadadH1130saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559, ‘Pleaseנָ֣אna'H4994let me liveתְּחִֽי־te.chi-H2421.’”And he saidוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Is he stillהַעוֹדֶ֥נּוּha.'o.De.nuH5750aliveחַ֖יchaiH2416?He is my brotherאָחִ֥י'a.ChiH251.”
