27The sonsוּבְנֵ֣יu.ve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478were musteredהָתְפָּקְדוּ֙ha.te.pa.ke.DuH6485and were provisionedוְכָלְכְּל֔וּve.khal.ke.LuH3557and wentוַיֵּלְכ֖וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980to meetלִקְרָאתָ֑םlik.ra.TamH7122them; and the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478campedוַיַּחֲנ֨וּvai.ya.cha.NuH2583beforeנֶגְדָּ֗םneg.DamH5048them like twoכִּשְׁנֵי֙kish.NeiH8147littleH2835flocksH2835of goatsעִזִּ֔ים'i.ZimH5795,but the Arameansוַאֲרָ֖םva.'a.RamH758filledמִלְא֥וּmil.'UH4390the countryהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

28Thena manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֗יםha.'E.lo.HimH430cameH5066nearH5066and spokeוַיֹּאמֶר֮vai.yo.MerH559to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478and saidוַיֹּ֜אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, ‘Becauseיַ֠עַן אֲשֶׁ֨רYa.'an 'a.SherH3282 H834the Arameansאֲרָם֙'a.RamH758have saidאָמְר֤וּ'a.me.RuH559, “The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068is a godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of themountainsהָרִים֙ha.RimH2022,but He is not a godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of thevalleysעֲמָקִ֖ים'a.ma.KimH6010,” thereforeI will giveוְ֠נָתַתִּיVe.na.ta.tiH5414allכָּל־kol-H3605thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088greatהַגָּ֤דוֹלha.Ga.dolH1419multitudeהֶהָמ֨וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995into your handבְּיָדֶ֔ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027,and you shall knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.’”

29So they campedוַֽיַּחֲנ֧וּvai.ya.cha.NuH2583oneאֵ֦לֶּה'E.lehH428overH5227againstH5227the otherאֵ֖לֶּה'E.lehH428sevenשִׁבְעַ֣תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֑יםya.MimH3117.And on the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֗יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117the battleהַמִּלְחָמָ֔הha.mil.cha.MahH4421was joinedוַתִּקְרַב֙va.tik.RavH7126,and the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֧לYis.ra.'ElH3478killedוַיַּכּ֨וּvai.ya.KuH5221ofthe Arameansאֲרָ֛ם'a.RamH758100,000מֵאָה־ אֶ֥לֶףme.'ah- 'E.lefH3967 H505footרַגְלִ֖יrag.LiH7273soldiersH7273in oneאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117.

30But the restהַנּוֹתָרִ֥ים׀ha.no.ta.RimH3498fledוַיָּנֻ֨סוּvai.ya.Nu.suH5127toAphekאֲפֵקָה֮'a.fe.KahH663into the cityהָעִיר֒ha.'IrH5892,and the wallהַחוֹמָ֔הha.cho.MahH2346fellוַתִּפֹּל֙va.ti.PolH5307on 27,000עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְשִׁבְעָ֥ה אֶ֛לֶף'es.Rim ve.shiv.'Ah 'E.lefH6242 H7651 H505menאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376who were leftהַנּוֹתָרִ֑יםha.no.ta.RimH3498.And Ben-hadadH1130fledנָ֔סNasH5127and cameוַיָּבֹ֥אvai.ya.Vo'H935into the cityהָעִ֖ירha.'IrH5892into an innerחֶ֥דֶרChe.derH2315chamberבְּחָֽדֶר׃ סbe.Cha.derH2315.
