26Now when the prophetהַנָּבִיא֮ha.na.Vi'H5030whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834broughtH7725him backהֱשִׁיב֣וֹhe.shi.VoH7725from the wayהַדֶּרֶךְ֒ha.de.reKhH1870heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֣עvai.yish.Ma'H8085it,he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “It is the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֣יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834disobeyedמָרָ֖הma.RahH4784thecommandפִּ֣יpiH6310of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;therefore the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068has givenוַיִּתְּנֵ֨הוּvai.yi.te.Ne.huH5414him to the lionH743,which has tornוַֽיִּשְׁבְּרֵ֙הוּ֙vai.yish.be.Re.huH7665him and killedוַיְמִתֵ֔הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him, according to the wordכִּדְבַ֥רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He spokeדִּבֶּר־di.ber-H1696to him.”

27Then he spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֤רvay.da.BerH1696to his sonsבָּנָיו֙ba.NavH1121,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Saddleחִבְשׁוּ־chiv.shu-H2280the donkeyהַחֲמ֑וֹרha.cha.MorH2543for me.” And they saddledוַֽיַּחֲבֹֽשׁוּ׃Vai.ya.cha.Vo.shuH2280it.

28He wentוַיֵּ֗לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and foundוַיִּמְצָ֤אvai.yim.Tza'H4672his bodyנִבְלָתוֹ֙niv.la.ToH5038thrownמֻשְׁלֶ֣כֶתmush.Le.khetH7993on the roadבַּדֶּ֔רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870with the donkeyוַֽחֲמוֹר֙va.cha.mOrH2543and the lionH743standingעֹמְדִ֖ים'o.me.DimH5975besideאֵ֣צֶל'E.tzelH681the bodyהַנְּבֵלָ֑הha.ne.ve.LahH5038;the lionH743had not eatenאָכַ֤ל'a.KhalH398the bodyהַנְּבֵלָ֔הha.ne.ve.LahH5038norH3808tornשָׁבַ֖רsha.VarH7665the donkeyהַחֲמֽוֹר׃ha.cha.MorH2543.

29So the prophetהַנָּבִ֜יאha.na.Vi'H5030tookוַיִּשָּׂ֨אvai.yi.Sa'H5375up the bodyנִבְלַ֧תniv.LatH5038of the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֛יםha.'E.lo.HimH430and laidוַיַּנִּחֵ֥הוּvai.ya.ni.Che.huH5117it on the donkeyהַחֲמ֖וֹרha.cha.MorH2543and broughtH7725it backוַיְשִׁיבֵ֑הוּvay.shi.Ve.huH7725,and he cameוַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935to the cityעִיר֙'irH5892of the oldהַזָּקֵ֔ןha.za.KenH2205prophetהַנָּבִ֣יאha.na.Vi'H5030to mournלִסְפֹּ֖דlis.PodH5594and to buryוּלְקָבְרֽוֹ׃u.le.ka.ve.RoH6912him.

30He laidוַיַּנַּ֥חvai.ya.NachH5117his bodyנִבְלָת֖וֹniv.la.ToH5038in his own graveבְּקִבְר֑וֹbe.kiv.RoH6913,and they mournedוַיִּסְפְּד֥וּvai.yis.pe.DuH5594overעָלָ֖יו'a.LavH5921him, saying, “Alasה֥וֹיHoH1945,my brotherאָחִֽי׃'a.ChiH251!”

31Afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310he had buriedקָבְר֣וֹka.ve.RoH6912him, he spokeוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his sonsבָּנָיו֙ba.NavH1121,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “When I dieH4191,buryוּקְבַרְתֶּ֣םu.ke.var.TemH6912me in the graveבַּקֶּ֕בֶרba.Ke.verH6913in whichאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430is buriedקָב֣וּרka.VurH6912;layהַנִּ֖יחוּha.Ni.chuH5117my bonesעַצְמֹתָ֔יו'atz.mo.TavH6106besideאֵ֚צֶל'E.tzelH681his bonesעַצְמֹתָֽי׃'atz.mo.TaiH6106.

32For the thingהַדָּבָ֗רha.da.VarH1697shall surelyH1961comeH1961to passH1961whichH834he criedקָרָא֙ka.Ra'H7121by the wordבִּדְבַ֣רbid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068againstעַל־'al-H5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196in BethelH1008andagainstוְעַל֙ve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the housesבָּתֵּ֣יba.TeiH1004of the highהַבָּמ֔וֹתha.ba.MotH1116placesH1116whichH834are in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֥יbe.'a.ReiH5892ofSamariaשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ פsho.me.RonH8111.”
