Matthew 10:2-14
21Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, 2Simon, who is called Peter, and 3Andrew his brother; and 45James the son of Zebedee, and 6John his brother; 37Philip and 8Bartholomew; 9Thomas and 10Matthew the tax collector; 1112James the son of Alphaeus, and 13Thaddaeus; 4Simon the 14Zealot, and 15Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.
516These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: “Do not 17go 18in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the 19Samaritans; 6but rather go to 20the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7And as you go, 21preach, saying, ‘22The kingdom of heaven 23is at hand.’ 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 924Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, 10or a 25bag for your journey, or even two 26coats, or sandals, or a staff; for 27the worker is worthy of his 28support. 11And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay 29at his house until you leave that city. 12As you enter the 30house, 31give it your 32greeting. 13If the house is worthy, 33give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, 34take back your blessing of peace. 14Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, 35shake the dust off your feet.
