Context of Job 19:10
8He has walled up my way so that I cannot pass, And He has put darkness on my paths. 9He has stripped my honor from me And removed the crown from my head. He breaks me down on every side, and I am gone; And He has uprooted my hope like a tree. 11He has also kindled His anger against me And considered me as His enemy. 12His troops come together, And build up their way against me And camp around my tent.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10Mine hope hath he removed like a tree - There is no more hope of my restoration to affluence, authority, and respect, than there is that a tree shall grow and flourish, whose roots are extracted from the earth. I am pulled up by the roots, withered, and gone.Read the comment

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 8-22Verses 8-22 How doleful are Job's complaints! What is the fire of hell but the wrath of God! It is a very common mistake to think that those whom God afflicts he treats as his enemies. Every creature is that to us which God makes it to be; yet this does not excuse Job's relations and friends. How uncertain is the…Read the comment
