Isaiah 59:15-20
15Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil 1makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was 2displeasing in His sight 3that there was no justice.16And He saw that there was 4no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His 5own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.17He put on 6righteousness like a breastplate, And a 7helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on 8garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with 9zeal as a mantle.1810According to their 11deeds, 12so He will repay, Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; To the coastlands He will 13make recompense.19So they will fear the name of the Lord from the 14west And His glory from the 15rising of the sun, For He will 16come like a 17rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives.20“A 18Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who 19turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord.
