Isaiah 57:15-19

15For thus says the 1high and exalted One Who 23lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I 4dwell on a high and holy place, And also with the 5contrite and lowly of spirit In order to 6revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.16For I will 7not contend forever, 8Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would grow faint before Me, And the 9breath of those whom I have made.17Because of the iniquity of his 10unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on 11turning away, in the way of his heart.18I have seen his ways, but I will 12heal him; I will 13lead him and 14restore comfort to him and to his mourners,19Creating the 1516praise of the lips. 17Peace, peace to him who is 18far and to him who is near,” Says the Lord, “and I will heal him.”
