Isaiah 43:18-28
18“1Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.19Behold, I will do something 2new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even 3make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.20The beasts of the field will glorify Me, The 4jackals and the ostriches, Because I have 5given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.21The people whom 6I formed for Myself 7Will declare My praise.
22“Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob; But you have become 8weary of Me, O Israel.23You have 9not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you 10honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not 11burdened you with 12offerings, Nor wearied you with 13incense.24You have bought Me not 1415sweet cane with money, Nor have you 16filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather you have burdened Me with your sins, You have 17wearied Me with your iniquities.
25“I, even I, am the one who 18wipes out your transgressions 19for My own sake, And I will 20not remember your sins.2621Put Me in remembrance, 22let us argue our case together; State your cause, 23that you may be proved right.27Your 24first 25forefather sinned, And your 2627spokesmen have 28transgressed against Me.28So I will 29pollute the 30princes of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to the 31ban and Israel to 32revilement.
