Hebrews 9:3-8
3Behind 1the second veil there was a 2tabernacle which is called the 3Holy of Holies, 4having a golden 45altar of incense and 6the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was 7a golden jar holding the manna, and 8Aaron’s rod which budded, and 9the tables of the covenant; 5and above it were the 10cherubim of glory 11overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail.
6Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests 12are continually entering the 13outer 14tabernacle performing the divine worship, 7but into 15the second, only 16the high priest enters 17once a year, 18not without taking blood, which he 19offers for himself and for the 2021sins of the people committed in ignorance. 822The Holy Spirit is signifying this, 23that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the 24outer tabernacle is still standing,
