Hebrews 5:4-10

4And 1no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even 2as Aaron was.

5So also Christ 3did not glorify Himself so as to become a 4high priest, but He who 5said to Him, “6You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”; 6just as He says also in another passage, “7You are a priest forever According to 8the order of Melchizedek.” 79In the days of His flesh, 1011He offered up both prayers and supplications with 12loud crying and tears to the One 13able to save Him 14from death, and He 15was heard because of His 16piety. 8Although He was 17a Son, He learned 18obedience from the things which He suffered. 9And having been made 19perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, 10being designated by God as 20a high priest according to 21the order of Melchizedek.
