New American Standard Bible 1995
Ephesians 5:8-13
8for 1you were formerly 2darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as 3children of Light
9(for 4the fruit of the Light consists in all 5goodness and righteousness and truth),
1067trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
118Do not participate in the unfruitful 9deeds of 10darkness, but instead even 1112expose them;
12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
13But all things become visible 13when they are 14exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
