Ephesians 5:14-21

14For this reason 1it says, “2Awake, sleeper, And arise from 3the dead, And Christ 4will shine on you.”

15Therefore 5be careful how you 6walk, not 7as unwise men but as wise, 16 8 9making the most of your time, because 10the days are evil. 17So then do not be foolish, but 11understand what the will of the Lord is. 18And 12do not get drunk with wine, 13for that is 14dissipation, but be 15filled with the Spirit, 19 16speaking to 17one another in 18psalms and 19hymns and spiritual 20songs, 21singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 20 22always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to 23 24God, even the Father; 21 25 26and be subject to one another in the 27 28fear of Christ.
